I’m Aims, the founder of Indy Bindy. I’ve loved fabric and sewing for as long as I can remember. When I was two years old, my mum would make matching, frilly-bottomed outfits for me and my besties. I watched her over the years and started my own sewing journey! I’m an Aussie currently based in Tokyo. I first came to Japan as a 16 year old exchange student. Little did I know that was the start of a life-long love of my second home! Japan would draw me back time and again. When my second son, Indy, was born in Tokyo I started my sewing business. Since they were born at the same time the store got his nickname! What is Indy Bindy? It is the go-to place to explore your creativity. The Indy Bindy Sewciety is my private sewing community. It’s a place for sewists to share our love of sewing and to connect and grow together. My shop sells indie sewing patterns that you can download and start sewing immediately. I also co-host the Colourful Journey Tokyo Craft Tours and Retreats with Victoria! Aims xx YOU MIGHT ALSO ENJOY...
