Autumn Double Obijime Necklace on Belcher Chain
Personally-sourced authentic vintage obijime cord from the 400 year old Setagaya Boroichi (Rag Market), reimagined into an Autumnal colour-pop necklace with a medium-weight fixed-size chain.
An Obijime is the decorative cord used to keep the wide obi belt in place when wearing a kimono. As well as providing stability so that the obi doesn't unravel, it adds a final flourish and a splash of colour to a kimono outfit.
Boxed in a branded Bikudesigns gift box (optional).
Lovingly made by hand in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.
