This is a beginner workshop. No experience is necessary.
In the workshop, we will make a patchwork-style kimono kimekomi art piece in your unique design or using a template.
- Wide range of vintage kimono fabrics to choose from
- Templates available: Mount Fuji, Sakura, Momiji or design your own
- Use of all tools/ materials- no need to bring anything
- A stand is included for your finished work
- Relaxing tatami studio space
- Refreshments included (tea, herbal tea or coffee)
NOTE:
- If you are creating your own original design, please sketch it out before you arrive with no more than 10 sections.
- This workshop is suitable for children 10+ but can be adapted for younger children.
- Please let me know if there are children under 10 attending.
