SCHEDULED WORKSHOP CANCELLATIONS (NOT PRIVATE WORKSHOPS)
A lot of love and preparation goes into every workshop, from gathering materials to creating a welcoming space. Once a spot is reserved, supplies are ordered and seats are saved just for attendees.
Life can be unpredictable! If a ticket cannot be used, it can be gifted or transferred to a friend or family member. Please share all the details with them so they know when, where, and what to expect.

Refunds and Credits
- More than 14 days before the workshop: Full refund minus a ¥1,000 admin and marketing fee.
- 7–14 days before the workshop: 50% refund or 75% credit toward a future workshop.
- Within 7 days of the workshop: No refund, but you can receive 50% credit toward a future workshop.
- No-shows (same-day cancellations): No refund or credit.

PRIVATE GROUP WORKSHOP CANCELLATIONS
Private workshops are custom experiences created especially for your group. Each session takes time, preparation, and advance purchasing of materials to make sure everything runs smoothly and creatively. Because of this, cancellations can be difficult to accommodate once a date is confirmed.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Group Bookings and Substitutions
Private workshops are booked at a flat group rate that covers the agreed number of participants.
Individual no-shows do not reduce the total fee, since preparation, materials, and instructor time are planned for the full group.
If someone in your group cannot attend, you are welcome to send a friend or substitute in their place at no extra cost. Please let us know their name and contact details in advance so we can welcome them properly and provide any necessary information.
Rescheduling
If you need to change your date, please contact us as soon as possible. One reschedule is allowed without a fee if notice is given at least 14 days in advance. After that, new rescheduling requests will follow the same timelines and conditions as cancellations.

- 14–21 days before the workshop: 50% refund, or 75% credit toward a future booking.
- Within 14 days of the workshop: No refund, but you can receive 50% credit toward a future private or public workshop.
- No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours: No refund or credit, as materials and instructor time have already been prepared for your group.

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY
- Avoid leaving your jewellery in direct sunlight.
- Do not expose to water.
- Do not pull or tug excessively as this may cause the parts to fail.
- Hang up fabric neckpieces to avoid creasing.
- Your jewellery is made from vintage kimono which may have imperfections due to its age.
- Bikudesigns jewellery is 'fashion jewellery' and parts may tarnish over time.
- Keep away from chemicals such as perfume and make up.
- Polish gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wash fabric surfaces with a damp cloth only.
RETURNS & REFUNDS OF PHYSICAL ITEMS
Returns
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same pristine condition that you received it.
Your item must be in the original packaging and repacked to the same standard that it was sent.
Refunds
Upon receipt of your returned item, we will inspect it for signs of wear and tear/ damage.
We will notify you on the status of your refund after inspection.
If your return is approved, we will organise a refund or a replacement (credit card handling charges and shipping to be met by the customer).
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
A photograph or screenshot of your shipping receipt is needed as proof of shipping.
If you return an item and it is damaged in transit due to insufficient packaging, no refund will be made.

FAULTY ITEMS

Your jewellery is under warranty for 6 months after purchase.
If within that time your jewellery breaks, please let us know and we will do our best to repair or replace it.
If, after inspection, your jewellery is found to be faulty, a repair/ replacement will be made with free shipping.
If the damage is a result of use, we are happy to repair or refresh an item (if possible) with a charge for parts, labour and shipping.
If you receive a refund because the item is faulty or damaged, the cost of return shipping will be added to your refund.
