How do I care for my jewellery?
- Avoid leaving your jewellery in direct sunlight.
- Do not expose to water.
- Do not pull or tug excessively as this may cause the parts to fail.
- Hang up fabric neckpieces to avoid creasing.
- Your jewellery is made from vintage kimono which may have imperfections due to its age.
- Bikudesigns jewellery is 'fashion jewellery' and parts may tarnish over time.
- Keep away from chemicals such as perfume and make up.
- Polish gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wash fabric surfaces with a damp cloth only.
My jewellery is not what I expected and I'd like to return it.
Returns
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same pristine condition that you received it.
Your item must be in the original packaging and repacked to the same standard that it was sent.
Refunds
Upon receipt of your returned item, we will inspect it for signs of wear and tear/ damage.
We will notify you on the status of your refund after inspection.
If your return is approved, we will organise a refund or a replacement (credit card handling charges and shipping to be met by the customer).
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
A photograph or screenshot of your shipping receipt is needed as proof of shipping.
If you return an item and it is damaged in transit due to insufficient packaging, no refund will be made.

Your jewellery is under warranty for 6 months after purchase.
If within that time your jewellery breaks, please let us know and we will do our best to repair or replace it.
If, after inspection, your jewellery is found to be faulty, a repair/ replacement will be made with free shipping.
If the damage is a result of use, we are happy to repair or refresh an item (if possible) with a charge for parts, labour and shipping.
If you receive a refund because the item is faulty or damaged, the cost of return shipping will be added to your refund.

I can't make it to a workshop and want to cancel my spot.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that workshops take time to market and resources need to be bought in advance once you buy your ticket.
Cancellations often mean your place cannot be filled.
You can transfer your seat to a friend or family member, but please forward all the details you have been sent so that they know when/ where/ what the workshop is.

- Cancelling up to 14 days before the start of the workshop: Refund with ¥1000 admin/ marketing fee deducted.
- Cancelling or rescheduling within 7 to 14 days before the start of the workshop: 50% refund.
- Cancelling or rescheduling 1-7 days before the start of the workshop: no compensation.
- No show (cancelling on the day of the workshop): no compensation.
